A vow of silence, I will not speak of it. I wrote a bunch of other stuff, but threw it away as it sounded like a bunch of bad teenage angst poetry. I've been there before, troubled, who need to hear it? If some angst falls in the woods...etc. I sometimes think my greatest contribution to the world would be silence as there's already too much noise. I'd like to repeat the mantra into oblivion, but I've forgotten the words. Oh wait...
There's something important to be said
(there, that's better)
Speaking of noise, I recently completed a sound project called Voices From. Here's an excerpt with images of the recording process - field recordings of pre-recorded content, in the Queen's Domain, Hobart. Images by Sally Rees.
Take care of one and other.
